In this book called "BOBBY VS. GIRLS" by Lisa Yee, talks about a battle between boys verses girls in a class. Although they are only fourth graders, one of the boys still wonders if he will ever be friends with a particular girl in the girls side. It talks a lot about crazy situation the main character goes through. This book is great for ages 9-12 and has 160. This book can be a little challenging for younger kids but is still a humerus book. I received information from this book on this website http://www.kidsreads.com/reviews/9780545055925.asp.

Another book review I found helpful was this book called "Billy Bones: The Road to Nevermore" written by Christopher Lincon. This book is good for any child who like to read adventure book. Basically this book is about a boy who loses his loved ones in a terr able accident. While reading this book you will try to find out how the little boy will find where is loved ones are captured at. This book is made for the ages between 8-12. I found this book on this website, http://www.kidsreads.com/features/cool-new-books.asp

In class we talked a lot about diversity. Diversity is a subject in which children should learn to accept all children no matter how they look or act. Stereotypes can be another problems in which many individuals go through today. We should all learn to accept all students.

I really like the books you chose to introduce. They seem appropriate for the age groups you mentioned and if I'm not mistaken, boys and girls still view the opposite sex as opponents in a sense. I do wonder though, which would be the most interested...the boys, or the girls?
